We will be celebrating the 105th Birthday of Mrs Winnell Shaw of Stone Mountain GA at 12PM at ARBOR TERRACE , 425 Winn Way, Decatur, GA 30030 

We are raising funds that will assist seniors in DeKalb and seniors in other counties in Georgia, who are desperately in need of help in one way or another. Here is a limited example of seniors whom we have identified as seniors who you or your organization could extend your help to like Mrs. Shaw who is 105 Years old whose senior daughter has been taking care of her for over 20 years,  and finally needed to make some other decisions for her care. Although she has been able to keep up with her care at her assisted living facility for over a year and a half,, recent illness of her husband and then her own health has caused her to fall behind with the payments to the facility, or Mr. and Mrs. John and Beatrice Williams who depend on John who is almost 80 years old to be the sole caretaker for his wife, Bea. Whenever John has to take Bea out, he has to rent a van with special ramp and hoists which is very expensive, and then there is Mrs. Mary Louise Clayton, a 91 year old with rheumatoid arthritis, hearing loss and other medical conditions but with a spirit as bright as that of a much younger person and deserves to live and be cared for with dignity. So her senior daughter is using her own retirement funds to care for her, 

Our senior fundraisers events will be hosted in March, June, September and December with the help of various non-profit organizations that have partnered with us. 

Seniors are the most vulnerable yet most underserved population of our communities around the United States.. AAFEC is seeking individuals and organizations who are willing to partner with us to raise money to help make a significant difference in the lives of many seniors,  first throughout Georgia then progress across the United States.
